Hitex Health Nest
A calm website for a polyclinic in Hyderabad, where booking is as easy as sending a WhatsApp message, and my first time helping a business with its whole start online.
- My role
- Website, plus help with the clinic's digital start
- Client
- Dr. Bhaskar Reddy's polyclinic
- Built with
- Next.js 15, TypeScript, Tailwind, Framer Motion
- Also
- Instagram setup, content ideas, ChatGPT
The brief
The clinic in Shilpa Hills covers pulmonology, diabetes care, acupuncture, chiropractic, yoga and lifestyle medicine under Dr. Bhaskar Reddy. It was new to being online. It needed a site that felt calm and trustworthy, and a way for patients to book without friction.
What I built
- A three-step booking wizard that turns into a ready-to-send WhatsApp message, with a consent checkbox before sending
- An offline AI receptionist that answers patient questions with no external API, checking for emergencies first
- Service pages, the doctor's profile, a clinic gallery, FAQs, fees and directions
- Light and dark themes
Beyond the website
Once the site was up, the more interesting questions were about everything around it. How does a new clinic get noticed? How should it present itself? How do the website, social media and WhatsApp hand a patient from one to the next?
- Helped with the clinic's initial digital setup and how it presents itself online
- Helped set up its Instagram presence and plan its first posts and content
- Explored using ChatGPT and other AI tools to draft captions and test content ideas
- Suggested marketing ideas and helped connect the tools where they were useful
I wasn't the clinic's marketing agency, and the decisions were the clinic's. But being involved beyond the code taught me to look at the whole problem a business has, not just the part I was asked to build.
Design
The look is blue liquid glass, with colours pulled from the clinic's logo. The signature detail is a slow breathing glow, four seconds in and six out, a nod to the clinic's lung care. I also made a logo intro animation and a paper-printing animation that plays when an appointment is booked.
What I learned
A clinic doesn't only need a website. It needs patients to find it, trust it and reach it. Seeing that pulled me into social media, content and messaging, and it's where I started thinking about technology as a set of connected systems rather than single projects.
